Theatre Works' Soldier Boy opened yesterday. It tells the true story of James Martin, the youngest known ANZAC who signed up at 14 years old.
Ellen Angus, a teacher at Glenferrie Primary got in touch with us after receiving the SFS May enews. She told us James Martin went to their school and one of their school houses is named after him. She said the Yr 5/6s were on camp in Canberra this week and placed a poppy next to his name at the Australian War Memorial. It's astonishing to think those students are only slightly younger than he was when he joined up!
It's also Glenferrie Primary's 150th anniversary year this year.
Congrats to Glenferrie Primary on their birthday and for keeping the history of a past pupil alive.

Complete Works Theatre Company have added their fabulous Twelfth Night. It's a live show for senior secondary students. They also offer other live and online shows. Check them all out here.
