It was fun going to assembly at Fitzroy North Primary on Monday. I was just one of lots of kids and parents hurrying down the street. Hello? Everyone’s walking!
At Assembly, Principal Anne Thorp organized everyone, then in came Luke and Geoff from Circus Oz. They entertained us, then rode off into the sunset ( well, the reception area).
Prep Teacher, Tash Godfrey explained the school registered early for Walktober, won the visit from Circus Oz, a voucher toward a School Breakfast and a workshop with an Active Schools Ambassador from the local council. This is so they can create a one year plan to foster activity in their school community. Good effort Fitzroy North!
If you want to foster activity in your school, why not bring your students to Circus Oz’ new show for primary students, in November, then do a circus skills workshop in their impressive training facility? Details here.
